$55-$60/hour | PRN
What You'll Do
- Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and clinical findings
- Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies that support communication and safe swallowing
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other healthcare professionals
- $55-$60/hour
- Flexible PRN schedule
- Collaborative rehabilitation setting
- Diverse short-term and long-term rehabilitation caseload
- Supportive interdisciplinary team
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident outcomes
- Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate SLPs are welcome to apply
