Talent Acquisition Specialist ConMet is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Corporate HR team at our headquarters in Vancouver, Washington. We are looking for an experienced recruiter with HR generalist experience. This position may require up to 10% U.S. travel to support recruiting at ConMet plant locations and attend company-sponsored job fairs. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates. This is an onsite role; not hybrid or remote. What You’ll Do Source and recruit top talent while representing the ConMet brand Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective job descriptions and postings Screen resumes and conduct competency-based phone interviews for professional and management roles Schedule and coordinate interviews, including travel arrangements when needed Manage external recruiting agencies and staffing partners Support HR generalist and administrative functions as needed Identify process improvements and contribute to special projects Support sourcing strategies to attract and assess candidates creatively Partner with colleges and professional associations to promote ConMet opportunities Comply with all existing governmental and labor legal and reporting requirements and protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations Utilize UKG/UltiPro and recruiting tools to ConMet’s advantage; serve as subject matter expert, recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes, and train the HR team as needed What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience HR generalist experience Manufacturing and/or engineering experience preferred Experience with UKG/MyPro Recruiting platform highly preferred Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $84,000 – $144,000 per year (upper portion typically reserved for existing employees with strong performance) Target annual bonus based on company performance during the fiscal plan year (October 1 – September 30) Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability protection Paid vacation for exempt employees per company policy Paid sick leave up to 10 days (80 hours) per calendar year Retirement package: 100% company‑paid participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) with 10% of considered compensation contributed each fiscal year; 4% employer match on 401(k) plan Ten paid holidays per year Wellness reimbursement ConMet provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or any other characteristics protected by federal, state, or local laws (“Protected Characteristics”).
