Position Summary Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, provides guidance on self‑service technology, processes purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follows safety standards and conducts safety sweeps. Handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, assists members with purchases, organizes merchandise, maintains a safe shopping environment, safeguards assets, maintains documentation, executes emergency procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Training & Development Assists with training associate staff on company processes and procedures. Teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Maintains the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies, correctly handles returns, and identifies shrink and damages. Values & Expectations Complies with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Minimum Qualifications Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register. Experience working with mobile retail applications.
