Robot Operator- 3rd shift

GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for the setup and operation of robotic sorting and flatpack. Provides general direction and guidance to any helpers or packers working alongside the Robot Operator.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

\u2022 Follow all safety procedures necessary for the operation of robotics system.

\u2022 Work in partnership with the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality standard is maintained.

\u2022 Monitor carton quality, complete necessary reports (forms) or quality checks.

\u2022 Responsible for the operation of a robotics system for sorting and packing. This includes the robot and its controls, and any other portion of the machine needed to achieve efficient operation.

\u2022 Given safety and quality standards are met, production numbers including speed, productivity, and throughput must meet requirements set by department manager, plant manager, or general manager.

\u2022 Create and install correct pallet IDs as required.

\u2022 Verify job completion.

\u2022 Assist in general maintenance, upkeep, and PMs of machine as needed.

\u2022 Notifies supervision of needed repairs or replacement parts.

\u2022 Make ready machine, input recipes as needed, add and assign SKUs.

\u2022 Resolve alarm errors and warnings presented by the robotics system.

\u2022 Maintain housekeeping to standards set by management.

\u2022 Complete line clearance.

\u2022 Any additional job duties as assigned by department manager.

\u2022 Perform and document quality audits.

\u2022 Work effectively alongside packers and material handlers.

\u2022 Train or receive additional training as needed.

\u2022 Maintain a strong attendance record.

\u2022 Assist other departments and teammates during slow or downtime periods. We are one team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

\u2022 Must have manufacturing, machining, or robotics experience.

\u2022 Must be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision.

\u2022 Must have demonstrated ability to communicate in writing.

\u2022 Must have mathematical ability to perform calculations required by the job.

\u2022 Must be computer literate, including the ability to maintain basic databases, do word processing, create and maintain spreadsheets using Excel.

\u2022 Must be well-organized and able to manage time efficiently.

\u2022 Must be able to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail.

\u2022 Must be able to always maintain a professional demeanor.

\u2022 Must be able to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

\u2022 Must have a professional appearance.
