What You'll Do

• Provide expert critical care to high-acuity ICU patients, including post-op CABG, valve surgery, aortic dissection, transplant recovery, and renal therapy.
• Monitor patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and support complex hemodynamic needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Be prepared to assist with patient stabilization during emergency events and potential reliever roles.
• Follow all unit protocols and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What You Need

• Active state RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in SICU or CVICU.
• Strong skills in caring for post-op cardiac, transplant, and renal patients.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIH, with experience in PA catheter management and balloon pumps preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with flexibility during emergency response.
