Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) Location: Los Angeles, California, United States Start date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $2,529 per week to $2,692 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Shift: 3x12-night shifts Setting: hospital-based labor and delivery unit Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,529–$2,692 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-night shifts (36 hours per week) Start date: 08/03/2026 Travel assignment in a hospital-based L&D setting in Los Angeles, CA Travel – Temporary Assignment with assignment-specific requirements Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for an obstetric patient population or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Assess and monitor maternal and fetal status; respond to changes, implementing and escalating care as needed Administer medications and therapies as ordered; assist with procedures related to labor, delivery, and postpartum care Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, ancillary teams, and other disciplines Document care actions and patient responses in the electronic health record; maintain safety, infection control, and patient privacy throughout the shift Provide education and support to patients and families; participate in discharge planning and coordination of follow-up care Requirements Current, active Registered Nurse license in California Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Graduation from an approved nursing program (RN) 1+ year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery or perinatal/obstetric care preferred Ability to work the 3x12 night rotation and participate in a travel assignment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support from start to finish Clear weekly pay range and assignment details provided upfront Nationwide travel opportunities through a 13-week travel assignment Pay Disclaimer : Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
