Veterinary Extern - General Practice

Animal Care Center Externship $2,000 stipend for 3rd‑ or 4th‑year veterinary students in Panama City Beach, FL. Extending the learning experience, this externship provides hands‑on clinical exposure in a supportive environment committed to excellent pet care. Responsibilities Gather patient histories and perform physical exams. Assist in the creation of treatment plans and diagnostics. Participate in dentistry services. Observe, assist, or perform surgical procedures. Manage patients’ medical care under supervision. Practice communication with the medical team, support staff, and clients. Qualifications Enrolled in the clinical portion of a veterinary program; currently in the 3rd or 4th year. Ability to travel and accommodate a working schedule of 2 to 8 weeks. Strong interest in learning within a veterinary practice environment. Stipend and Schedule Externships range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.
