Accounting Clerk
We're working with a well-established company in the Greensboro area that is looking to add an Accounting Clerk to support their accounting team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys transactional accounting work and can jump in quickly to support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Enter invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately and timely
- Perform data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Support account reconciliations and general ledger activities
- Assist with month-end close preparation as needed
- Respond to internal accounting and documentation requests
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience
- Strong data entry and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
