Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced testing in various laboratory disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Verify the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection, ensuring samples are prepared appropriately for accurate testing.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, train new team members or students, and contribute to the lab's adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your time with us.
