Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time speech-language pathologist position is located near Dallas, Texas, within a specialized regional day school program. You'll collaborate within a skilled team of three therapists providing services to approximately 130 DHH students, assuming a key therapy-focused role alongside colleagues who manage evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Texas SLP license
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) or hold a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) certification
• Previous experience in public school settings, particularly with DHH students, strongly preferred
• Commitment to completing mandatory TEA fingerprinting for credentialing clearance if not already on file
• Strong collaborative and communication skills; able to work effectively within a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to students in the DHH program, focusing on language development and communication skills
• Collaborate with other therapists and educational staff to develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and case conferences as required
