School Speech Language Therapist - REMOTE

This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting students within a Regional Day School Program for the Deaf, serving approximately 130 students alongside a dedicated team of therapy professionals. The position is designed for a therapist passionate about providing direct services-including individual and group therapy-primarily with children in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program.

Active Texas SLP license (required)
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher certification
School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
Expertise in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
Deliver therapy services to DHH students in collaboration with two other SLPs
Gather data, track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
Adapt therapy approaches for diverse learning needs
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and documentation requirements
Full-time: 37.5 hours/week (August 11, 2026 - May 28, 2027)
Assigned to the RDSPD program-focus on therapy delivery rather than evaluation workload
Fingerprinting through TEA is required for candidates who haven't recently completed one for a public school
