Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans to support their recovery journey
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength enhancement, balance, and overall function
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other therapy professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide and educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercise regimens
• Meticulously document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Take part in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to provide synchronized and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
• CPR certification preferred
