Probate ParalegalAscension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our client's Trusts & Estates practice group at their Downtown Fort Lauderdale office.The Probate Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality legal services. This position requires a proactive, highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accurately tracking and recording their own billable time.QualificationsMinimum of 3 + years of paralegal experience in a law firm supporting a Trusts & Estates practice group.Probate experience is required.Strong knowledge of Trust and Probate Administration.Experience preparing probate pleadings and legal documents.Knowledge of IRS Form 706 (Estate Tax Return) and Form 709 (Gift Tax Return).Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professional and client-focused demeanor.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client information.Experience with court filings, e-filing, and recording documents/deeds.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive legal and administrative support to Trusts & Estates attorneys.Assist with trust and probate administration matters.Prepare probate pleadings, legal documents, correspondence, and other filings.Assist with marshaling, inventorying, and distributing estate assets.Prepare and assist with documentation related to IRS Forms 706 and 709.File and record documents and deeds with courts and other applicable agencies.Maintain and organize client files and prepare documents for client signings.Communicate with clients daily in a professional and responsive manner.Proofread documents and correspondence for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.Accurately enter and track billable time and prepare reports as requested.Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.BenefitsHeavily subsidized health insurance premiumsFirm-paid HSA contributions of $600–$1,200 annually100% firm-paid employee-only dental and vision coverage, with affordable dependent optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Dependent Care AccountsFirm-paid Life InsuranceFirm-paid Long-Term Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)11 paid holidays in 2026Generous PTO for full-time employeesTraditional and Roth 401(k) options from day oneEligibility for a discretionary Firm matching contributionLocation: Downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL Position: Full-Time | Probate Paralegal Experience: 3+ years in a law firm; Probate experience required
