Business analyst / Data Analysis

Immediate need for a talented Business Data Analyst. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Scottsdale , AZ(Onsite). Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technology professionals to understand business needs and desired outcomes. Decompose project scope into functional and technical requirements for users, data, UI applications, APIs, and integrations. Manage the complete requirements lifecycle—from elicitation and documentation through verification and implementation. Analyze current and future states across applications, data, and dependencies, applying data-architecture knowledge to recommend practical solutions. Validate data across source systems and translate findings into requirements for dashboards, reports, and data products. Utilize AI-assisted tooling to enhance requirements analysis and documentation. Approximately six years of relevant experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or data analysis. Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or Figma. Understanding of data architecture, data flows, and system-to-system integrations. Familiarity with APIs, UI applications, data warehouses, and analytics solutions. Undergraduate study in computer science, management information systems, business, data analytics, or a related field.
