Senior Group Sales Manager

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations. Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales team Meet or exceed set goals.**Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:** Three years of hotel sales experience preferred. Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. This job requires ability to perform the following: Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.Ability to utilize computer software and hardware required. Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and trainingMathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, and organizational abilities are used often.
