Family Law Attorney

This is an opportunity for a seasoned Family Law Attorney who wants to own cases, get into the courtroom and build toward partnership. You’ll manage sophisticated family law matters from intake through resolution, handling hearings, trials, client strategy and complex financial issues involving high-net-worth individuals, business interests and substantial marital estates. The firm is looking for a polished, client-focused litigator who can independently run a caseload while valuing the perspective and mentorship of accomplished trial attorneys. The right person is professional but warm, confident in the courtroom and serious about building long-term client relationships and a lasting practice. Responsibilities Take primary responsibility for family law matters from initial intake through settlement or trial Independently manage an active caseload while maintaining close communication with clients throughout every stage of their matter Represent clients in motions, evidentiary hearings, trials, and other courtroom proceedings Handle sophisticated divorce, child custody, support, paternity and post-judgment matters involving significant assets Develop strategies for cases involving business interests, executive compensation, private equity interests, multi-entity structures and complex property division Collaborate directly with experienced shareholders and trial attorneys on case strategy, negotiation, mediation and litigation Build strong client and referral relationships while developing the foundation for a specialty, book of business or future team within the firm Requirements 4-5+ years of total attorney experience with at least 2-3 years focused specifically on family law litigation Proven experience serving as the lead attorney on family law cases and independently managing matters from start to finish Strong courtroom experience including motions, evidentiary hearings, and trials Experience handling family law matters involving estates valued at $3M-$5M or more Demonstrated ability to independently manage an active caseload of approximately 20 or more matters Strong client management skills with the judgment to balance legal strategy, responsiveness, and sensitivity to legal costs California Bar admission and the ability to work regularly from the Irvine office during the initial training period Performance-based bonus opportunity designed to reward collected revenue, increased production, and originated business 401(k) plan with a 4.5% employer match Medical, dental, and vision coverage options Unlimited PTO and paid holidays Hybrid flexibility after approximately 90 days of training with the potential to work remotely 2-3 days per week #J-18808-Ljbffr Boutique Recruiting
