Family Law Associate Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Newport Beach, California. The successful candidate will manage a variety of family law matters, including divorce and child support modifications, while collaborating with experienced partners for professional growth. Duties Handle divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and child support modifications. Manage all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and motions. Represent clients in court proceedings. Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in family law or civil litigation with a desire to transition to family law. Experience with depositions, discovery motions, mediations, and client interactions preferred. Trial experience is a plus. Expertise in analyzing and drafting briefs for complex family law issues. Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaborate with team members. Client-focused mindset and passion for successful outcomes. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active admission to the California State Bar required. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
