The position involves working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. This role is intended to start as soon as possible. Candidates should have experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation care. Responsibilities include blood glucose monitoring and management of ports. The RN must also perform fall risk assessments and manage feeding tubes. Competence in insulin protocols, isolation precautions, and pain assessment is necessary. Knowledge of pressure ulcer assessment and prevention, as well as wound care, is essential. Swallowing precautions and patient teaching are also part of the duties. The candidate should be prepared to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. A focus on patient care and rehabilitation is crucial.
