Medical Billing Assistant - US Mental Health Clinic

Full-time Medical Biller

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a modern, and innovative mental health clinic that offers all needed services for a person to be well and happy within one place for convenience, quality, and time-saving care and coordination. We are a multidisciplinary, multiplication, and telehealth clinic in the state of California. We are located in the beautiful cities of Valencia, Westlake Village, and Torrance. We are blessed to work with mid to high-income populations, where you can focus on the clinical work in a friendly environment and a beautiful clinic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Checking clients' eligibility and coverage on a daily basis. (Online & through call if necessary) Review and resolve the to-do list daily. Accept inbound calls. Always document the conversation to Billing Comments of Therapy Notes. Calling clients to collect aging balances. Resolve claims denial. Contracting and credentialing knowledge. Other billing-related work.

Experienced to check eligibility Experienced to collections Inbound/outbound experienced Hardworking Reliable person Reliable computer/internet (Backup is a MUST) Willing to learn Good communication skills Organizational skills Customer services skills Ability to handle various tasks Attention to details Team player

Rate:

$4.00/hr

Benefits:

Possible raise of pay $10.00 per month for internet allowance assistance after 90 days Additional $20.00 per month for health allowance plus 5-day vacation leave and 3-day sick leave credits (not convertible to cash) if passed the annual evaluation. Promotions Teleremote work
