Remote Legal Expert

The Legal Counsel will provide expert legal advice and support on a range of legal, corporate and compliance matters driving best practice and mitigating risks across the business. This hybrid role involves working closely with General Counsel, wider legal department and internal stakeholders in Miami. Client Details Leading global travel company based in Miami, Florida. Description As Legal Counsel, this varied role is responsible for: Advise on legal, corporate regulatory and compliance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents. Collaborate with internal teams to manage legal risks and ensure alignment with company goals. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the business. Provide training and guidance to staff on legal best practices. Support corporate governance and policy development initiatives. Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of legal matters. Work closely with outside counsel as required. Profile A JD or LLM law degree and admission to practice law in the United States. Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis. Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in the travel, retail or other customer-centric industry. Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with global teams. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address legal challenges. Benefits Salary range of $150,000 to $170,000 annually (depending on relevant experience). Annual bonus.
