General Maintenance Technician

Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Minimum 5 years experience building metal framed walls Minimum 5 years experience Repairing Drywall Minimum 5 years experience Painting Walls Minimum 5 years experience Building Wood Framed walls Minimum 5 years experience Remodeling office space or home repair

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, and mechanical. Work on plant facilities using hand and power tools. May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's Degree, or Accredited Master's Degree.
