Mental Health Interventions Assistant

Assists RN in assessing patient problems, planning and carrying out mental health interventions, and maintaining therapeutic milieu. Primary position responsibilities include facilitating mental health interventions, maintaining therapeutic milieu, documentation of care, patient advocacy, maintaining patient safety, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.

Minimum years of experience: None required.

License, registry or certification: Required CPR certification.

Knowledge, skills and/or abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills.
