Retention Coordinator

The Role

You will work inside our CRM platform daily - helping build campaigns, configure segments, set up A/B tests, QA content, and deploy sends on schedule. You will learn the full campaign lifecycle from the ground up while contributing to a high-volume program from day one.

What You Will Own

Campaign Build & Deployment

• Build email and SMS campaigns end to end: from creative assets and campaign briefs, to - HTML setup, dynamic content blocks, etc.
• Configure audience segments and lists per campaign brief
• Schedule and deploy campaigns according to the send calendar, managing targeting and optimal send times
• Set up A/B tests as directed by the lifecycle and acquisition leads

Quality Assurance

• Execute the full QA checklist on every send - links, images, rendering across clients (desktop, mobile, dark mode), dynamic content logic, segment accuracy, etc.
• Send test emails, documenting and resolving issues before deployment
• Verify tracking parameters, attribution setup, and conversion pixel firing on all campaign links
• Flag anomalies in segment sizes, open/click rates, or deliverability metrics

Retention Ops

• Maintain campaign naming conventions, folder organization, and tagging standards within the CRM platform
• Pull post-send performance data and compile it into standard reporting templates
• Support flow updates and maintenance as directed - updating creative assets, adjusting timing, swapping content blocks

Who you are

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 0-2 years in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing - internships and coursework count
• Familiarity with an ESP (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) is a plus but not required - we will train you
• Basic comfort with HTML/CSS is a plus - willingness to learn email-specific markup is what matters
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail - you work from checklists and you do not skip steps
• Comfortable working at pace - you can manage multiple tasks in a day without losing track of details
• Eager to learn the technical side of email - deliverability, segmentation, and performance metrics
• Curious about the why behind the sends, not just the how - you want to understand the strategy even if you are not setting it
