Work Environment

The successful Physical Therapist will work onsite at our hospital facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Direct physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, enhancing muscle function, and restoring mobility.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in implementing care plans effectively while ensuring that treatments align with best practices.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments that include muscle and joint evaluation to determine functional abilities and limitations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and caregivers to devise and refine comprehensive treatment goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, ensuring clients understand their rehabilitation program and feel supported throughout their recovery.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on the ongoing evaluation of patient conditions, documenting all findings accurately in clinical records.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences to foster a comprehensive understanding of patient needs and available resources.
• Educate patients and families on mobility aids and rehabilitation tools to facilitate informed decision-making and independence.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation and reporting in accordance with branch policy and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, primarily comprising individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
