Construction Project Manager

Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Spirit Lake, IA. The individual in this role will oversee construction projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, managing site activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, tracking progress, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The Construction Project Manager will prepare and monitor project budgets, manage change orders, and support quality control and compliance with local codes and company standards. This role also involves regular site visits, reporting on project status, and collaborating with leadership to improve processes and project outcomes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management to oversee all phases of building projects. Candidates should possess solid skills in Project Management and Project Coordination to plan, schedule, and align resources effectively. Candidates should possess demonstrated Budgeting skills to manage costs, track expenditures, and support financial decision-making. Relevant experience in commercial and/or residential construction, including on-site supervision and contractor management, is highly beneficial. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Proficiency with construction management software and basic office applications, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction; OSHA awareness or certification is a plus.
