Job description Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR / SDR) IT & Cloud Services Department: Inside Sales / Business Development Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are looking for a high-energy, persistent, and articulate Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive the outbound sales engine for our Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Managed IT Services (MSP). In this role, you will take the high-quality, verified leads produced by our internal corporate intelligence team and convert them into qualified sales opportunities. Your primary mission is to initiate contact with IT decision-makers across India, handle gatekeeper objections, uncover technical pain points, and pitch the value of our cloud migration, security optimization, and IT management services to book qualified demos for our closing team. Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting Execution: Maintain a high daily volume of outbound outreach (cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn messaging) to qualified corporate prospects across India. Consultative Discovery: Conduct brief, high-impact discovery conversations with IT Directors, CTOs, CIOs, and business owners to identify their current IT setups and infrastructure challenges. Value Proposition Pitching: Effectively communicate the tangible benefits of migrating to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, consolidating licensing costs, or outsourcing IT support to a reliable MSP. Objection Handling: Navigate gatekeepers and confidently counter common B2B objections related to vendor switches, pricing models, and cloud migration downtime. Opportunity Qualification: Use qualifying frameworks to evaluate a prospect's current contract timeline, user count size, budget, and readiness to transition. Meeting Generation: Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas for scheduling qualified discovery calls and product demos for the senior Account Executive team. CRM Cleanliness: Update all interaction history, lead stages, call summaries, and follow-up tasks perfectly within our in-house CRM. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in B2B cold calling, telesales, or inside salesideally selling IT services, SaaS, telecom, or cloud licensing in the Indian market. Communication Excellence: Exceptional spoken and written English skills. Ability to speak confidently, command respect from corporate decision-makers, and write highly personalized outreach emails. Basic Technical Literacy: Foundational awareness of cloud ecosystems (the difference between MS 365 and Google Workspace plans) and what an MSP does (endpoint security, helpdesk support, cloud backups). Resilience & Drive: High rejection tolerance, competitive mindset, and the persistence required to hit daily outreach targets.
