Revenue Accountant

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time salaried Revenue Accountant will manage the revenue cycle, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition and prepare revenue-related journal entries during the month-end close process Generate monthly revenue reports, investigate discrepancies, and perform analytical reviews of revenue trends Identify bottlenecks in the order-to-cash process and support audit activities by serving as a primary contact for external auditors Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition, preferably in the SaaS or digital services industry Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 standards Proficiency with advanced Excel functions and experience with enterprise accounting software and billing systems CPA or path to CPA is strongly preferred
