Human Resources Manager

NUS Consulting Group, a global energy management and sustainability advisory firm, is seeking an HR Manager to be responsible for our people operations, payroll, and benefits functions in the United States. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats — building strong HR programs while making sure payroll and benefits run accurately and on time across a multi-jurisdictional team. What you'll do: Own end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies) across all entities, including open enrollment and vendor management Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR support Maintain compliance with local labor laws and payroll regulations across our global entities Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation, tax filings, and benefits administration Develop and refine HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives Manage HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR, compensation, and benefits matters What you bring: 5+ years of HR experience, with direct ownership of ADP Workforce Now payroll processing (multi-country experience a plus) Experience administering group benefits plans and working with brokers/carriers Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax withholding, and labor law requirements Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience); PHR/SHRM-CP or CPP certification a plus Why NUS Consulting Group: Founded in 1933, NUS has spent decades helping organizations manage energy costs and sustainability strategy worldwide.
