Opportunity:


RN - Labor and Delivery


Job Details:


• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No float requirements
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• 36 hours of low census unbillable hours eligible per contract; travelers may be called back with call back pay
• Guaranteed hours per week except during holidays when unit is closed; hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Minimum 2 years of OB experience with Labor and Delivery experience required
• Labor and Delivery competency required
• Unit consists of 11-bed L&D and 8-bed Postpartum with approximately 1,350 deliveries annually
• Average monthly delivery rate of 112 deliveries per month
• Primary EMR is EPIC; experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, Advanced NRP
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Any color scrubs permitted

This hospital is a full-service regional medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The Labor and Delivery unit supports approximately 1,350 deliveries annually across an 11-bed L&D unit and an 8-bed Postpartum unit, offering a dynamic and well-equipped environment for experienced obstetric nurses. The facility utilizes EPIC as its primary electronic medical records system and maintains high standards of patient care across all departments.
