Fuquay, Inc. is a Texas-based trenchless and site construction company specializing in UV-cured CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) rehabilitation, along with manhole coatings, CCTV inspection, dry and wet utilities, and sediment/erosion control. With operations across New Braunfels, Leander, and Sachse, we run a diverse equipment fleet to support fast-paced fieldwork, and we're looking for a mechanic who takes pride in keeping that fleet running strong.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including backhoes, trenchers, excavators, and air compressors
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on work trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in the field and in the shop
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to project and operations teams
- Support crews across active jobsites, occasionally requiring travel within our Texas service areas
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to diagnose issues independently and work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in an outdoor, active jobsite environment
- Strong communication skills in English
