Sales Director - Cargo Charter

Build the US Cargo Strategy, Not Just the Sales Pipeline We7re looking for someone with a deep understanding of the air cargo charter market, an established network of industry relationships and, most importantly, the ambition to take ownership of what happens next. A global aviation business is investing in the continued expansion of its cargo division across the Americas. Working directly with the SVP of Cargo, youll help decide which verticals, accounts and opportunities the business should pursue. Youll have the freedom to develop a commercial strategy around your network, supported by an established global aviation platform and an operational team capable of delivering the work you win. What will you take ownership of? Build and execute a commercial growth strategy across the Americas Prospect for and secure new cargo charter and OBC/hand-carry business Develop high-value relationships with freight forwarders, airlines, manufacturers, NGOs and direct cargo owners Own key accounts, driving client retention, satisfaction and repeat business Target opportunities across aerospace, automotive, energy, manufacturing, humanitarian and time-critical logistics Build and manage an accurate sales pipeline, including forecasts, conversion rates and performance reporting Lead client meetings, presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations Work directly with the SVP of Cargo on pricing, competitive positioning and priority markets Attend conferences, trade shows and networking events to generate new opportunities Support quotations and charter agreements, liaising with operators and the wider cargo team where required Ensure confirmed business is handed over smoothly, with all client and operational requirements clearly communicated Deliver agreed revenue, margin, sales activity and new-client targets Who will do well here?
