Mission Resort + Club is seeking a Director of Sales to join our team! Located in the rolling hills of Lake County, the award-winning resort features deluxe accommodations, four distinct restaurants, two 18-hole championship golf courses, a luxury spa, and a wide range of recreational activities. As the Director of Sales, you will: Drive new business through proactive sales efforts and local market outreach Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and local accounts Identify new revenue opportunities and grow existing business Execute sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals Collaborate with hotel leadership to align sales efforts with overall property performance Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, and client presentations to showcase the resort’s offerings Negotiate contracts and close business for group events, meetings, weddings, golf outings, and corporate retreats Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budget strategies to support revenue planning Represent the resort at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to strengthen brand awareness Support and mentor sales team members while fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment What We’re Looking For At least 2 years of sales experience (hospitality preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of the local market and a proactive, outside-sales mindset Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close business Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and revenue management tools preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
