As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Milford, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access control operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or document arrivals and departures in support of security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, with attention to unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Support receiving and delivery access by checking authorized vehicles, directing drivers and/or guests to designated areas, and maintaining accurate access records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
