You’ll enjoy flexing your organizational, spatial, and people leadership skills to create efficiencies in our stock room, training process and beyond. What You’ll Be Doing Elevate the Store Experience: Assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman clients using “The Sam Style” model, and provide an inviting world‑class customer experience by training and developing stock associates. Move Products with Purpose: Lead our stock associates by example in checking in and unpacking shipments of the newest arrivals, strategically organising inventory. Proactively Request Products: Support the Store Manager on product requests to ensure displays are filled, advise the Store Manager and complete related reworks and transfers. Ace Accurate Inventory Counts: Use a detail‑oriented skill set to follow the proper protocol for store fulfillments, cycle counts and accurately complete inventory prep and process; advise the Store Manager on inventory discrepancies. Cultivate a Culture of Professionalism and Respect: Foster a professional and safe work environment where associates are valued, respected and recognised for their contributions. Other Essential Functions: Complete other projects and assignments as directed by management. Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience. Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store. Positive communication skills with store associates at all levels. Independent judgment and discretion while partnering with the Store Sales Manager. Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures. Team‑player with ability to work effectively in a team. Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours. Physical Requirements And/Or Environment Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, repetitive lifting. Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
