Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement activities and ensure the timely purchase and delivery of materials, parts, tools, and supplies required for uninterrupted operations. This position requires strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review purchase requisitions and obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information from vendors.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in VISIBILITY.
- Track orders and expedite shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm purchase order details and resolve discrepancies.
- Review order confirmations and update purchasing records.
- Coordinate returns, third-party shipments, and supplier follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate vendor schedules and purchasing databases.
- Work closely with receiving and internal teams to ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition.
Qualifications
- Purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
