Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that focus on improving mobility, enhancing strength, restoring balance, and fostering overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and creating home exercise programs
• Ensure thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress following facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary case conferences to facilitate seamless care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent recognized degree from a reputable program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification desired
• Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience is highly preferred
