Accountant

We’re looking for a Cost Accountant / Operations Finance Analyst to join a high-performing finance team supporting a large-scale food manufacturing plant. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance or accounting professional who is eager to learn plant operations, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance while working alongside experienced leaders with long tenure and a strong commitment to employee development. What You’ll Do: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production and financial reports Analyze labor productivity, production volume, and operational performance metrics Generate and communicate daily plant performance reports ("Daily Flash") to leadership teams Assist with yield loss reporting and production efficiency analysis across multiple product lines Pull and consolidate data from various systems including SAP, Power BI, and quality control platforms Identify operational trends and opportunities for process improvements within manufacturing lines Partner closely with production teams and spend time on the plant floor to understand operational performance Cross-train to provide leadership coverage and support critical reporting during peak production seasons What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, operations finance, construction accounting, or a related analytical role Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, troubleshooting, and data validation Ability to analyze large data sets and transform data into actionable business insights Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and reporting tools such as Power BI is preferred Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and intellectual curiosity Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams Willingness to support flexible scheduling during peak production periods Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
