Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative - Northern ObGyn - Rhinebeck, NY - Full Time - Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for medical practice.

Responsibilities:

• Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively.
• Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.
• Answers phones, routes call, takes messages, and assures accurate communication both verbally and via the EMR system
• Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols.
• Monitor applications and manage worklists as applicable.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit.
• Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.
• Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Maintains and models the organization values.
• Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education Skills Experience: Required: High School graduate or equivalent. Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred, Data Entry, Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal). Minimum Experience: Six months. Other Information: Ability to travel between practices as needed. Salary Range: $18.13 - $34.50 Hourly
