Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging examinations according to orders and established protocols.
- Position patients, select imaging parameters, and optimize image quality while maintaining radiation safety and dose awareness.
- Verify patient information, obtain consent when required, and document procedures in the electronic medical record (EPIC) within the past two years.
- Independently scan trauma patients when needed and assist with contrast administration as per protocol.
- Place and manage peripheral IVs (PIVs) for contrast administration as required and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiology team to ensure timely, diagnostic-quality studies and maintain room and equipment safety and cleanliness.

Requirements
- ARRT CT certification required.
- Vermont state radiologic technologist license must be applied for at time of offer.
- BLS certification required.
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years required.
- Philips CT experience preferred.
- Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility preferred.
- Ability to start peripheral IVs (PIVs) and to perform trauma imaging as needed.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes every other weekend and 2 of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day) per unit needs.
