All eligible employees are able to contribute on a pre-tax and/or post-tax basis and Alomere Health matches up to 6% of employee's contributions.* Please see more details about our benefits here: through Friday: Day ShiftNo Weekends**Position Objective** The Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer/Echocardiography Technician will be responsible for obtaining high quality cardiac Echocardiograms on pediatric through adult age patients, which are ordered by medical Providers. The tech will also perform Stress Echocardiograms as well as Atrial Doppler Vascular studies as needed. **Essential Responsibilities** The following description of responsibilities to be performed is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. • Work closely with Department Director and Administrative Support to assure proper schedules • Maintain supplies and equipment • Work with Biomed Department and notify pairs needed to Department Director • Charge and document procedures accurately and follow through by completing the right paperwork • Perform emergent studies timely and accurately • Notify providers of an emergent findings **Other Responsibilities** • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner • Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment • Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures • Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department • Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability## Qualifications**Required Qualifications** • Registered Cardiac Sonographer • BLS Certificate**Preferred Qualifications*** Certification in Pediatric Echocardiography**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** • Proficient knowledge and skill to use equipment needed to perform high quality studies • Ability to stay alert to details: accurate measurements and calculations to maintain high quality images • Strong patient skills to encourage cooperation • Ability to keep updated on new information needs to take continuing education as required **Union Position**No #J-18808-Ljbffr
