What You'll Do

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Assist with procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising therapist to improve treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes according to regulatory standards.
• Support patient, family, and caregiver education regarding physical health and recovery.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous education sessions.
• Support and supervise students, as needed, under supervision.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Experience working in Long Term Care (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred:
  • Prior LTC experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory documentation standards
