Q'anjob'al Interpreter

Looking for Qualified Interpreters! As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking hard‑working, fully‑bilingual foreign‑language interpreters to provide in‑person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. We have an immediate need for Q'anjob'al interpreters in the Omaha area. Requirements Fully bilingual Excellent communication and listening skills Familiarity with medical terminology Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPAA compliance In‑person interpreter only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally Technical skills for using an online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required) Must have access to a printer Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred Background checks and drug screens required Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken). Flexible based on interpreter’s availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability M‑F 7 AM‑5 PM as services are typically needed. Proof of Vaccination Requirement As a company providing interpretation services to medical facilities, we require all interpreter candidates to provide proof of vaccination. If you have a medical or religious exemption, please inform us and appropriate accommodations will be considered. Submit your vaccination proof or exemption documentation prior to your interview. All medical information will be handled confidentially. Contract Details This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours.
