This full-time contract opportunity offers two exciting settings: a structured self-contained program at the elementary level and a co-teaching role at the middle school level, each providing a rewarding educational experience. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience working with students with Autism and functional communication needs
• Ability to create safe, engaging, and structured learning environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedication to individualized student growth and supporting IEP goals
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in both self-contained and co-taught models

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction and deliver individualized learning plans in a Structured Teaching and Learning Room (STLR) for a caseload of up to 10-13 elementary students
• Collaborate as a co-teacher at the middle school level, supporting up to 13 students in inclusive settings
• Develop, adapt, and implement differentiated strategies for academic and communication success
• Monitor student progress, document growth, and report on IEP goals
• Engage with families, therapists, and staff to coordinate comprehensive support
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom culture that encourages independence and confidence
