Work Environment

This position is located in a home care setting, allowing for personalized, one-on-one interactions with patients. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours available either from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, facilitating a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, evaluating their mobility, strength, and functional capabilities to create individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and pain management strategies to address specific patient needs.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring physical therapy interns and residents, sharing knowledge to enhance the skills of our future professionals.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and refine treatment protocols, ensuring high standards of patient care.
• Initiate and participate in clinical research projects that advance the understanding and practices of orthopedic physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active New York State Physical Therapy license is necessary to practice in this role.

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation are required.

Preferred Experience
