Job description:
Director of Financial Planning
The Director of Financial Planning is responsible for developing personalized financial plans that help clients achieve long-term financial security. This role works closely with clients and advisors to provide strategies related to investments, retirement, insurance, tax, and estate planning while delivering a high level of client service.

Create customized financial plans using financial planning software
Gather client financial information and communicate planning recommendations
Partner with advisors to identify opportunities to improve client strategies
Maintain compliant client records, notes, and documentation
Stay current on industry regulations, products, and planning strategies
Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
5+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience
Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
Minnesota Life & Health Insurance License preferred
CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®, or similar designation preferred
Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
