Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Pasadena, CA. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience in law and motion, and complex litigation, focusing on creditor rights and post-judgment enforcement. Join a team dedicated to impactful litigation and professional growth. Duties Manage an active caseload of creditor's rights post-judgment and bankruptcy litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, and post-judgment filings. Conduct and defend depositions. Propound and respond to written discovery requests. Conduct judgment depositions, debtor examinations, and 2004 exams. Issue subpoenas and document requests. Attend hearings and conduct oral arguments. Initiate bank levies, wage garnishments, and real estate levies. Perform legal research and maintain detailed case files. Collaborate with colleagues while maintaining professionalism. Requirements 4+ years in a litigation role; bankruptcy experience is a plus. Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. Familiarity with the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act, Enforcement of Judgments Law, and Civil Discovery Act is preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of California. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
