Position Details Position type: Full‑Time Department: Psychiatry Location: NYC Health + Hospitals / North Central Bronx, 3424 Kossuth Avenue, Bronx, NY 10467 Salary range: $267,900 - $278,200 Description Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist – Inpatient to the Behavioral Health group at NYC Health + Hospitals / North Central Bronx. Opportunity Details Work with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical staff to provide hands‑on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, acute stabilization and management, crisis intervention and care, and appropriate disposition for a cohort of inpatients. Responsibility for clinical and educational activities on a 23‑bed acute adult inpatient unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team. Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff, and medical students. Participate in all activities related to clinical care and documentation, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education & training. Participate in our innovative integrative care activities. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Active New York State Medical License. Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690 (board eligible) and $450,020 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000. Projected bonus up to $40,000 based on previous year’s average, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) company contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement. Generous annual paid time off (PTO): vacation, sick, holiday, and CME days.
