$90K-$120K (Based on experience)

Position Overview

Strong accounting skills are required. Tax experience is not. We welcome accountants from private industry and will train the right candidate.

A growing, technology-driven public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of business clients while providing accounting, tax, and advisory services. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys building client relationships, solving problems, and growing beyond traditional tax preparation into a trusted business advisor.

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065) is a plus but not required

• Strong QuickBooks knowledge with the ability to review and troubleshoot client files

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable

• Eager to continue learning and expanding tax knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns

• Review and clean up QuickBooks files while supporting client bookkeeping teams

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business clients

• Handle sales tax filings and respond to tax notices

• Assist clients with accounting questions and financial reporting

• Support month-end and year-end close activities

• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide proactive recommendations

Qualifications & Must-Haves

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Experience preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals is a plus but not required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to independently manage multiple client engagements

• CPA or CPA-track is a plus but not required
