The Radar Design Department designs some of the most innovative land-based and shipboard radars in the world and is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with experience in hardware design and analysis to join our team. The position will primarily support design, development, and production focused around phased array antennas and supporting structures, power, and cooling sub-systems. The key responsibilities for this position include technical problem solving, along with technical management in the development of new hardware. What You Will Do

• Mechanical design, analysis and documentation of hardware and systems
• Representing the Mechanical Engineering organization as a technical contact on projects
• Working as part of a small team during product development, part and drawing creation, drawing release, and drawing change incorporation
• Creatively apply mechanical engineering knowledge to efficiently solve complex design problems and make sound and rationale data oriented technical conclusions.
• Providing factory and supplier support domestically and internationally
• Collaborating with senior external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination within and between organizations
• This position will require interfacing with other mechanical engineers, designers, and structural / thermal analysts, as well as engineers from other disciplines, along with customers and program management

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with CAD software
• Experience with CREO

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, course work, or projects Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience Product Data Management (PDM) and CADD software
• Experience in electronics packaging, radar antenna design, or precision systems through class projects, professional internships, or academic research
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering design processes

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
