Essential by Christophe, the Michelin-starred restaurant by Chef Christophe Bellanca, is seeking a talented and driven Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.
This role is ideal for a cook who is ready to take the next step in their career and assume ownership of a station within a highly organized, detail-oriented kitchen. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, committed to excellence, and eager to contribute to a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be expected to lead by example, maintain the highest culinary standards, and support the development of junior cooks while working closely with the culinary leadership team to execute service at a Michelin-star level.
Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation, organization, and execution of a designated station
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared, organized, and maintained to the highest standards
- Execute dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail during service
- Maintain station readiness and communicate effectively with the culinary leadership team throughout service
- Uphold all recipes, preparation techniques, and plating standards established by Chef Christophe Bellanca
- Train, mentor, and support Commis and Line Cooks assigned to your station
- Monitor product quality and assist in minimizing waste through proper handling and storage
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and proper product rotation
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or Michelin-starred kitchen preferred
- Strong technical cooking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a station independently in a fast-paced service environment
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, organization, and professionalism
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performance culinary team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
